Proposed Indrakshi Swasti Kshetram

Uttari village on the outskirts of Bangalore city, is the proposed site for the Indrakshi Swasti Kshetram. It is the sankalpa of Poojya Guruji Viswanath that Indrakshi Devi will manifest here in full form for the first time on this earth.

Maha Indrakshi Devi

Goddess Indrakshi is the manifestation of Adhi Parashakthi, Goddess Lalitha Thripurasundari. Devendhra, seeing the serene beauty of this deity, sings a stothra (hymn) praising her, which is dealt with in detail in the Sri Markandeya Purana.

This Indrakshi sthothra was made known to the world by Purandara Rishi & has been written in Anushtup chandas. The presiding deity for the sthothra is Indrakshi Durga. The kernel of the chant is Lakshmi, the strength behind the Manthra is Bhuvaneswari & its axis is Bhavani. Personifying the Maheswari mantra as a key to unlock temple called mahamatha, we have a glimpse of Indrakshi Devi in the sanctum sanctorum & be blessed with health, wealth & fame.

Sri Markandeya maharishi has listed the benefits one is blessed with, by chanting these hymns. Firstly, health, wealth & fame. Secondly, liberation from fear of death, fear of enemies & thirdly, cure for all kinds of diseases that a man may suffer from.

Let us all pray with utmost devotion to Indrakshi devi, manifestation of Jagath Janani Sri Lalithathripura Sundari, the destroyer of all evil forces, to shower her blessings on all of us for our well being always.

சூலை, சூக்கும, ஸ்தூல உபாதைகள் அறுந்திட

வழிகாட்டி ஒளிகூட்டு என் ஆணவம் கரைந்திட

எல்லோர் உடலும் மனமும் பலப்படவே
அதனால் உலகம் முழுவதும் பயன்படவே

யான் வியந்து மலைத்தேன், மலைத்தேன் தருவாயே
அவ்வம்ருதம் உண்டு என்றும் உன்னை மறவேனே
