Global Education and TRAining Movement (GETRAM)

The Global Education and TRAining Movement (GETRAM) was inaugurated by Honourable Past Governor of Karnataka Sri. T.N. Chaturvedi on 30th January 2003 at the Chowdiah Hall, Vyalikaval, Bengaluru. The function was illumined by the divine presence of Guruji Viswanath founder guardian of Manava Seva Kendra and the gracious presence of late former Minister of Karanataka State Sri. H. C. Srikantaiah and Sri. G.K. Venkata Shiva Reddy Honourable Member of Legislative Assembly (M.L.A.), Karanataka State. The function included a skit about global unity in humanity by GETRAM children, music programme by Sriram Parthasarathy & Srividya Ramanath, followed by a grand carnatic classical music programme by Sangeetha Kalanidhi Madurai T.N. Seshagopalan.

The concept behind GETRAM was conceived and designed by Sri. Guruji Viswanath enacted it as a dance at the inaugural function of Global Education and TRAining Movement (GETRAM) by His Excellency Sri. T.N. Chaturvedi (Governor of Karnataka) on 30th January 2003 at Chowdiah Hall Bengaluru, an initiative of Manava Seva Kendra founded by Guruji Viswanath.. The lyrics are also compositions of Guruji Viswanath.

(Narration) -:-
The world comprising of seven continents is a small speck in a universe comprising of many galaxies. The universe with all its galaxies is believed to be created by the primordial power. Now enters the primordial power. Bharat is providing illumination to the universe. Now enters bharath.

(Song of World Unity) -:-
Here I come, I am called Antarctica, I represent the pure waters of the world. Here I come, I am North America, I hold the riches of the world. Here I come, I am South America, my forests are the breath air of the world. Here I come, I am Australia, I represent the human progress of the world. Here I come, I am called Europe, I represent the technological excellence of the world. Here I come, I am called Africa, I represent the bounties of nature. Here I come, I am Asia, I represent the heart of the world, for I am the cradle of civilization. (All continents hold together in unity the lamp of love, peace and wisdom).

Oh! my sweet Lord, you are the Lord of this universe. Oh! my great Lord of virtues, give me love and compassion, give me good thoughts. Make me do good things in life, so that when I die, I'll have no regrets, I will rest in You, for ever and ever and ever.

Inaugural Address by Poojya Sri. Guruji Viswanath

Friends, Today we are inaugurating the Global Education and TRAining Movement which we shortly call as GETRAM.

This movement by itself is a great thought and if this movement spreads, each and every person who is living in this planet of earth will have the guidance in all the spheres of his life, for his maintenance, for his well-being, for his living style and what you call as the cozy feeling within while you live. This is what GETRAM aims at.

Many of you who are here are educationists, I know. Many management experts and scientists have come here apart from students and educationists. All of you may be asking “What is this new training movement which the world has not seen or the world has not followed?” We call this a COMPLETE INTEGRAL EDUCATION. It is not a system. It is a movement of complete integral education towards illumination of life. It is totally a different way of training and education.

What the globe has seen is with the subjects and objects given, we have explored in every possible way. The objective science and technological improvement and subjective information and ideas are being merchandised and commercialised everywhere. Great people are born again and again to explore the possibilities of education in these fields – subjective and objective fields of observation and experience. But in spite of all this, in the present world, everyone has now started taking an index of Sept 11 incident. What the present world requires is the correct understanding of life on this planet and the necessity of maintaining living style peacefully in this planet earth. And if possible, share, care, pray and spend together for the well-being of the people who are occupying this planet, earth, globe.

These are all not tall talks which you consider, there are great values and origin, there are great values in the plans of the nation, but this is a completely different way of looking. I call it ILLUMINATION. The world has seen visionaries. The world has seen dreamers. The world has seen ambitious people. The world has seen missionaries, but people who can illumine this world are MASTERS who have understood themselves, who have REALISED THEMSELVES, who have discovered themselves and who can apply themselves to any level in this world. Only those people can come out boldly and say that ILLUMINATION is like this. Now, this movement is necessary because the vision is a distant cry. The ambition is still further. The mission is towards achieving vision and ambition, but illumination is just on this earth, just in anyone, just in discovering one's self.

It is something like this. You are entering into a jungle and all the people around the jungle search for something to spend their life and they were not knowing that their purpose of entering into the jungle is to just cross the jungle to reach the destination or city or somewhere where they can settle cozily. Whereas along with other people, you, the one who wants to reach the destination, even the torch is in your hand, but if you are lost in searching the jungle, whole of your life, when are you going to reach the destination? Whenever we ask such a person why are you doing, he gives an example and quotes that, that man wants to do this and this man wants to do this and so I'm also doing this, but he has entered into this jungle just to cross and reach the destination and he is given a torch in his hand. So, this is what GETRAM is going to teach each one of us – YOU have the ILLUMINATION within YOURSELF – YOUR INTELLECT, and you choose your destination. You choose your ambition. You choose your vision. You choose the mission but always hold this torch and know that you are going to cross and enter into the destination.

What is your destination?

A SELFLESS SELF-REVELATION; A SELFLESS SERVICE MINDEDNESS. A very good participation with the world at all levels. A peaceful living and preaching a calm atmosphere throughout the globe so that no one disturbs others. What else you want? This can happen only when each one understands and illumines his intellect. This we call as self illumination, which is possible through this Global Education and TRAining Movement.

It is just not another academic system but it supplies you from CONCEPTION to COSUMMATION (WOMB to TOMB) for any person, in any walk of life, at any age, just to refer to this movement and this system, where he will be supplemented and supported with what he requires. It can be a small problem-solution or it may be small psychological turbulence which he wants to put off or it can be a great self discovery or it can just be a piece of drawing or painting. It can be anything. We, from GETRAM, will give you the Answer.

The sky is not complete and nothing is complete without the sky. It is something like that. All the systems of Education should be supplemented by not only academics but the lifestyle, the light and its problem-solutions. This is what we are aiming at, from the GETRAM movement.

This can be applied to anyone in any part of the globe because everyone is born as a child and grows into an adult and enters into old age and before retiring into death bed, he lives a life a few years. During this, how he has to face life, how he has to work, how he has to enter into studies, how he has to earn money – these are all being taught in this materialistic world in the process in the academic system of education. But living all this process, what are all the thoughts we hold, what are thoughts which disturbs us, what are the pressures of work we undertake on our body that tells on his body and mind, which prevents us from living a full life.

The Global Education and TRAining Movement tries to give a meaning to your life and fulfillment to your life and we are starting today, Phase 1 of this Movement called Global Education and TRAining Movement for Children. The children of today need a lot of attendance by elders, by parents, by the teachers and by the whole system because unless they are educated enough, they grow into their own feelings, they grow into whatever they observe in the world outside and they grow into what they are taught through media and books.

A normal death took place at a particular city in South India and a person was visiting that city. The child, when he entered that home asked, "what is happening"? The people at home told that, such and such person died. “Oh who shot him?” retorted the child. So, now you see, the mentality of children today. It can't even accept that there can be a natural death. He is so attracted by media and so attracted by films and so attracted by the fantasies of this world that it can't just accept that there can be a natural death and it asks who shot this fellow. This is the ultimate. We have to find a meaning to children's psychology now and we have to put the children in proper mode of understanding life.

At any level of children, if they turn to GETRAM movement, the answers are just a get away. For this we are going to enter into publication of books, CDs and PDF files and training the teacher's program and what not, which will explore all possible ways to reach any particular child in any part of this globe. And I think with this, all the children, because they are going to rule the world tomorrow, if they understand life correctly, if they develop a few virtues and if they value their own life and if they value the respect to be given to the seniors and if they start loving each other and if they start sharing with each other, if they start becoming truly friendly with the people around them, we can create the best world in the coming generation and that is what this movement aims at.

I think it will be well received by all corners of the globe and I wish that all of you should join this movement and give a hand for spreading this movement, not only for the children, but also for youth, for old aged people, for everyone and it is for you and me to spread this thought, to spread this education, to spread this training everywhere, so that world will celebrate peace and joy, shortly.
